hey fellow bloggers… thanks for the compliments. romantic query letter, what's your real name? thank you for you thoughtful and very kind words… aaron, this was a local hair and make-up school fashion show, but they designed the outfits as well. ;)

katie, nice job of cropping in the camera. i think too often photographers want to get the 'whole image' in the viewfinder and many time the best composition is a tighter crop. the great sports photographer Co Rentmeester says that if your photographs are not compelling enough you not close enough or shooting with a long enough lens.
