in search of farms…

i went driving through the outskirts of whatcom county today, in search of a photo column subject – preferably at a farm. i found this odd place… it only had one buffalo, one llama, and one cow. i went to the house on the property, and talked to an old woman. she told me the animals belonged to her husband. i asked her why they had a buffalo, and she responded, “i tell you, i ask my husband that same thing every day.”
