i had more fun at this assignment that i’d ever imagined i would… the girl below was one of the most expressive subjects i’ve ever photographed! at first i thought she was concerned because she didn’t want to be on the bench. it quickly become obvious that it wasn’t that at all, but the fact that her team was losing badly! (final score, 23-14, the other team!)
there were so many great shots of this girl, it was tough to choose one for the paper! i ended up going with the first one in this blog post, and have received more reader comments on that one photo than i think anything else i’ve ever had published in the monitor!
