Dude. Are you feeding it?!? This is a RODENT. It needs to be KILLED. Did you know they can be venomous? They also have the highest brain to body weight ratio of any mammal which means it probably already knows I want it dead so it may try to evade attempts to eliminate it. I know ways to kill a shrew.
